FOR STUDENTS

Our Student Ministry offers a place where Middle School and High School students can come and know that they will be loved. Our goal is to make every student feel special and demonstrate God's love to them. We offer various events including high school and middle school Sunday School classes, a weekly youth worship service, youth praise band, youth discipleship classes, and more. There is a place for every student to connect and make a difference. We have a great time as we provide opportunities and youth centered events such as retreats, Small Group Bible Studies, mission projects, and other exciting and inspirational events.  

Pleasant Ridge is also blessed to have a strong connection with the students of Gardner-Webb University and other local community colleges. We have designed a ministry which allows students to interact with the church family through “Watchcare.”  Students have the opportunity to “join” our church without transferring their membership from their home church.  Our pledge is to “adopt” those students by pairing them with families from our church so that they may feel some sense of family while they are away at school.
